When Jesus saw their faith, he said, “Friend, your sins are forgiven.” Luke 5: 20
Some men brought a paralytic to Jesus, but could not get near him because of the crowds. So the men went to the roof, made an opening on it, and let down the mat carrying the paralytic right in front of Jesus. (Luke 5: 18, 19). When Jesus saw their faith, he said, “Friend, your sins are forgiven.” Later, he healed the paralytic and asked him to take his mat and go home. (Luke 5: 24). Had the men turned back on seeing the crowds, their friend would not have received the healing. But they persisted in faith, looking for some way to reach Jesus, and succeeded in their mission. Let no hurdle or obstacle stop you from receiving your blessing from Jesus. Persevere in prayer and faith until you get what you want from Jesus.
